Where can you ride an e-bike in Mississauga?
E-bikes weighing 40 kg or less can ride Mississauga's park trails unless a sign says otherwise (the City's rules page says to use trails signed for e-bikes and lists approved ones such as the Waterfront Trail); e-bikes can also use multi-use trails along roads, cycle tracks and bike lanes, but never sidewalks. MiWay has banned e-bikes from its buses, bike racks, stops and terminals since July 1, 2025. GO trains take certified e-bikes up to 55 kg, but not on weekday rush-hour trains in the peak direction; UP Express takes none.
