Where can you ride an e-bike in Hamilton?
Hamilton Conservation Authority lands, including the Dundas Valley and the Hamilton end of the Hamilton–Brantford Rail Trail, allow pedal-assist e-bikes wherever bicycles are allowed; the Grand River Conservation Authority's page for the same rail trail says no e-bikes. HSR says motorized bikes may not fit its bus racks (the driver decides), while GO trains take certified e-bikes up to 55 kg, but not on weekday rush-hour trains in the peak direction. The City has not published a clear rule for regular e-bikes on its own park trails; cargo e-bikes are kept off park trails, unpaved trails and sidewalks.
