What we could not confirm yet
- By-law P-600 requires e-bike assist to stop at 30 km/h; an e-bike set to cut off at 32 km/h may not meet that wording. Ask HRM (311) before relying on it in parks.
- Other rail trails in HRM (e.g. St. Margaret's Bay Rail Trail, Salt Marsh Trail) were not checked; check trailhead signs or ask the trail operator.
- Backlands / McIntosh Run natural-surface trails: a community stewardship group says no e-bikes, but no official source was found; check posted signs.
- Musquodoboit Trailway: the trail operator's page (mta-ns.ca) says battery-powered e-bikes are allowed, but no government page confirms it; check trailhead signs.
